Full Tilt Poker has decided to change their rake calculation method from dealt to contributed.
What is the difference between dealt and contributed rake?
With the dealt calculation method, everyone in the hand that was dealt card will have a share of the rake. So if the pot with 6 players was $72 and the rake was $3,60, then each player would receive $0.60 from the pot in rake and 27 % rakeback on that.
With the new contributed method, your share of the rake is proportional to the amount you put in to the pot. So if the pot with 6 players was $72, but you only put $10 into the pot you will only get 10/72 times the rake of $3,60 to you in rake. If you fold pre flop you will get nothing back.
